While in San Diego for Comic Con I got to visit the San Diego Zoo for the first time. What a great place! I haven't drawn animals in a long time (which is my excuse for why I drew them all in boring poses) but here are some of my sketches:
I had a great time at the San Diego Comic Con. I was only there briefly but was really happy to see some good friends. I picked up a bunch of books but was really excited about two of them - Check them out!

Paul! Those were also my 2 favorite books of the con! I'm sorry I didnt make it over at the Eisners. I was actually there with Stephen DeStefano, we're good buddies.

Great sketches! San Diego Zoo is the best. I have only been once, but it was so clean and didn't seem to smell as much as other zoos. And the animals seemed to have a lot more room.

I also went to the san diego zoo during comic con. My parents, me and my husbie walked like 8 hours trying to see every single animal!!! It was awesome but my legs were dead afterwards.
