While in San Diego for Comic Con I got to visit the San Diego Zoo for the first time. What a great place! I haven't drawn animals in a long time (which is my excuse for why I drew them all in boring poses) but here are some of my sketches:

I had a great time at the San Diego Comic Con. I was only there briefly but was really happy to see some good friends. I picked up a bunch of books but was really excited about two of them - Check them out!

PRES ROMANILLOS

Leukemia took an amazing animator, friend and animation mentor this weekend but it can't take the inspiration and beautiful drawings that Pres left us with. One of the first animation tests that Pres helped me with was with Jiminy Cricket 15 years ago. Rest in peace Pres and I hope we get to work together again some day.
