Hi Paul!
Perhaps you could be interested by the Call for Projects Awardwinners Pitches for the feature length projects on the 7th of June at the Creative Focus.
I am one of the prizewinner myself with Tale of the ShapeShifter (-La Renarde qui n'avait jamais vu l'Océan-in French) and I am delighted to invite you at this event. It is announced to start at 5 pm but as my own presentation has been delayed from 18:45 to 19:00, it could be a little later.
However here is the blog dedicated to Tale of the ShapeShifter so you can have a sneak preview:

Comments, advices and tips are more than welcome!
(In fact it would be wonderful to meet at the occasion of the Annecy Festival so we can chat about it face to face)
Have a great Festival!
I went the last three years. Won't be able to go this year, unfortunately.
I mostly enjoy going to see a lot of shorts as there is quite a variety, not all good, but still.
Oh and take some time to enjoy the town and lake, it's beautifull.
Awesome! whens the talk, or what's the name so I can find it in the program? I'd love to come.
Thank you for all of the information and the e-mails I've received!
Yaxin - damn - another time! You'll have to come to Los Angeles one of these days.
Theresia - will definitely try to catch it!
Denzel - thank you!
Ems - just swing by the Disney booth! - MIFA Booth 2011 (I hope that's right???)
haha! it must be. is that a certain date for the talk?
I'll see if I can find it
maybe meet you soon then

Wow it looks like you guys are bringing an amazing powerhouse of talent to the festivals! I'm really looking forward to your talks and critiques!
For someone who lives in Australia it is such an exciting thing to be able to see and hear you guys talk in real life, i had the pleasure of seeing glen keane talk earlier this year, which was inredible, but we rarely get many visits on that side of the world.
I cant wait to hear what you guys have to say, the talk on the art of story and animation looks particularly intriguing, god I sound like a little fanboy...
I'm sure you will be incredibly busy throughout the week, but if you do get a chance I would be thrilled to have you see the film I was lead animator on, it is part of the short
films in competition http://www.nullarborshortfilm.com/
It's my first time at annecy too so I am just as lost as you unfortunately... Good luck with it all!
Hey man, saw your talk on Wednesday at Annecy!! Was really cool. You speak with such enthusiasm, it would have been hard not to get caught up in your excitement for story. Hope ya had a good time in Annecy anyhows. Did ya manage to get on some of the pedalos?
All the best
thanks graeme!
Hello! Managed to catch your talk and a quick hi on the Wednesday at Mifa! I was a one of the many students there and I have to say the talk really was stupendously inspirational for all of us. Seeing you pitch the boards for Tangled was incredible, and the Q&A afterwards seemed all the more personal with all all squeezed in at your feet in that tiny booth. I hope you enjoyed Annecy! I very much think I will be back next year, it was mind-blowing. Thanks again for the talk! It truely was great!
Lynne
Thank you Lynne! - That's really great to hear.
